Hey, Sage here! This is my second project for the SGA(Or the Sunset Great Association)! This project is for the newer members of the scratch equestrian community. Here is a quick explanation of currencies and sales: Depending on what stables you are in, you may have multiple currencies (i.e. Sunset stables-GC or gold coins, MFS- GE or galloping equines). Most sales only take a couple of currencies so always check what currencies you have and what currencies the sale takes. Depending on the stable, you start with an amount of currency at the beginning (usually around 50ish). If you run out of currency, then you are in debt. You will eventually have to pay this back. Usually horses are around 10-20$ but it depends on the art style and how popular the artist/seller is. Now that we've gotten that taken care of, we can get more into the details. Tack sales are, what you might expect, selling tack. Included in this project there is a tack sale only for the newer members of the community. I find that a lot of (popular)tack shops charge lots of $ for some simple necessities. When I started in the community, I quickly started buying tack before realizing how much it actually added up to. My point is, the first tack you buy, doesn't have to be from the most popular shop, you just have to like it. This is not meant to be in any way offensive to these shops. In this project I have just included saddles, saddle pads, halters/bridles, and a simple blanket. Also, remember to keep in mind what horse you are buying the tack for. Different colors look better on specific coat colors or patterns. Below is a quick guide to these colors(Credit to @Dontay13 for their project on this and some of my own findings/opinions) -Chestnut: Try to use deeper and richer colors, avoid shades of red-blues and greens look great -Cream- browns(lighter) -Palomino: Stick with darker shades that aren't yellowish-yellow, champagne, beige, and orange can be a no-no Duns: same as palomino -Grey: dark colors like navy or black -Bay: choose a light color or a pastel color Dark Bay: similar to bay and black, just pay attention to the amount of red in their coat -White: pretty much anything, just make sure the coat and tack colors don't blend together -Black: pretty much anything, just lean towards lighter shades -Appaloosa, paint, and similar: if you have a multicolored horse, think about what the horses main colors are can choose from those sections(Example: bay and white paint- bay colors and white colors.) However, even though some colors look better than others, it is your choice of how you dress your horse. Have fun with it! If you would like to order some of this tack, fill out this form here: Item name-color[] price [] currency(we take GC(Sunset), GE(Meadowfeild), HS (Hoofprints), and LC (Lakeside)) [] link to horse or be fitted(optional- link the horse that you want to wear it) [] when did you join the comm.(Stable that carries the currency you are using- must be a month or under to purchase) [] tip?
