⚠️ Due to this story being based on a video game, many things are subject to change as the game updates. Changes will be posted in my profile comments. 【 T A L E S F R O M T H E P A T H 】 This project is part of a series that will cover the different locations in my story based on the dinosaur survival game Path of Titans developed by Alderon Games. 【 E N V I R O N M E N T 】 Click to cycle through the images. The blue line isn't a definitive border and may be slightly off. It's simply to help the reader better understand which area is being discussed. (Image 1) ➤ Burned Forest was the site of a severe volcanic eruption. Black rocks still remain among the prejudiced trees. Amanitas, anthills, branches, and canna flowers can be found here. (Image 2) ➤ Clusters of gray rocks are scattered around. (Image 3) ➤ One particular area appears to be sandy, independently from the beach. (Image 4) ➤ Burned Forest has been recovering from the disaster in recent years. Patches of foliage and even grassy clearings have been growing among the trees, but it has a long way to go. Yarrows and button mushrooms grow in the grass. (Images 5-6) ➤ A single pool of water hydrates any passersby. (Image 7) ➤ The beach is completely charred and covered in charcoal tree stumps. This area has the densest concentration of turtle shells out of all of Gondwa's coasts. Branches and seashells can also be found here. (Image 8) ➤ The volcano that devastated the forest has long since been dormant. Many fear that it could still erupt in the future, but just as many are praying to Atlas to not set the forest ablaze... again. (Image 9) If you want to know where Burned Forest is relative to the rest of Gondwa, here's a link to the full map! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/996527200 【 I M P O R T A N T C H A R A C T E R S 】 These are characters that have Burned Forest as a relevant location in their lives. ◈ Wanderer (visitor) ◈ Grandpa Leguaan (pre-disaster resident) ◈ Atlas (mythos)
Images are screenshots I took from Path of Titans. I think this might be one of my favorites so far ^-^ Burned Forest just has a sort of story to it, you can look at it and piece together what happened, all while the catalyst sits quietly in the background -v- Just added a bit of creatively liberal lore to wrap it all up :D
