Welcome to the Novice's Guide to Chords! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to play: select a chord type by pressing 1 or 2, then press A, B, C, D, E, F or G on your keyboard to play that respective chord :D --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (press 0 to switch to the sharp versions of chords, press 9 to return to no sharps) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHORD TYPES: 1- Major Chords :) 2- Minor Chords :( -Thanks for playing!
The animation isn't accurate as i'm lazy :| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE!!! The title may be misleading, as this doesn't actually teach how to play chords, it's just a place to mess around with some chord progressions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tip: playing any E chord with the sharp setting on will result in an F chord of the same type. Likewise, playing any B chord with the sharp setting on will result in a C chord of the same type. (the reason being that technically, E sharp and B sharp don't exist, although some people argue that they do in certain contexts. All you need to know is if in the rare case someone says E sharp they mean F, and if they say B sharp they mean C) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Although most of the chords here are 'cowboy' chords (meaning they are played close to the headstock/peghead), some here are played as barre chords (essentially, barre chords are like cowboy chords but played further up the neck). I'm playing most sharp chords barred. #music #guitar
