Okay I know I'll get a lot of questions about this so I'll just clear things up. Back when I made this account almost 3 years ago, I made my username "PixelCh3rry" and went by Cherry (a feminine name, because I still thought I was a girl). After a lot of self discovery, I realized that I'm a guy (male, he/him) and I no longer go by Cherry online. HOWEVER, the one thing that was holding me back was my Scratch username. It got to the point where it was EXTREMELY tiring to have to correct everyone, even though I stated numerous times that I go by Jayden now. People would still call me Cherry, even if they were aware that the name made me uncomfortable. The username itself was just uncomfortable to have because of this. So, a few days ago, I emailed the Scratch Team about this. I asked them to change it to "JaydenCoolguy_" because that's my main alias online (Usually without the underscore unless it's already taken). The Scratch Team lets you change your username ONLY for a good reason (it has to be more than just "I don't like it"). If your username makes you uncomfortable because of your identity, they'll let you change it; therefore the ST changed my username for me!! (A lot of other people who are also trans have had their username changed for reasons similar to mine) I hope that clears some stuff up. :^)
