You can only get on it by landing at a place, also the island with the special material disables all known forms of technology, so you cant land on it and you need to get there from boat and on foot. So basically every (or most) nations are gonna try to get this planet because in the middle of it there is a gigantic mass of special materials, it can produce antimatter much easier than any known way + it is almost indestructible (stronger than all known materials). Combined, the planet is worth about 5 googolplex dollars
