Seven years ago today, Easter of April 16th, 2017, I being some stupid kid with time to waste joined this site. For the first two years, I loved coming on here and making projects. Whether they actually got on the front page or they just stayed drafts, I enjoyed coding and simply seeing what I could do with code. What I enjoyed even more was all the friends I made, many of whom disappeared over the years, many that I've lost to time. But I enjoyed making memories with them all on here. I lacked a social life offline and so I felt fulfilled with the countless friendships and popularity I had on here. Then 2019, Scratch 3.0 comes around, and I for whatever reason decide to leave and go on hiatus. I did not honestly expect to be this inactive for five years. I was planning to come back. But as puberty got the best of me, as I got older and embraced the pains of teenagehood, my focus became shifted on other things. Of course, COVID comes and interrupts the world of it's regular flow, and that is an entirely different story of it's own. I try to make a point to come back here every once in a while, and not to leave this community forever. There are so many great people and so many memories that I get from this site, and I just wanted to take the time to thank you all. Whether you've been following me for all this time or just stumbled one of my old projects, I just want to say thanks. Especially as a socially awkward introvert I feel grateful for all the connections I made. I might not post as much (especially since I'm 17+ now and have more responsibilities), but I have no plans to "leave" or delete my account. (unless I get banned/blocked) Here's to seven years and more!
To you all!
