Super CharMainor World Expansion Project (SCMWExp) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Got Done: - just working on a side project (outside factors kept me going any further w the Exp Update. - made unique ground texture for Lv9 !!!BIG NOTICE!!! There has been a overhaul to the save system, therefore any previous SCMW or Super Mike World Saves are incompatible with the Exp. version due to the addition of features that require saving. Ex; Coins =========================================== - Reworked Save System =========================================== - A working thing (you can tell) - Reworked some Level Designs (GH, DC, HS & TT) - Renamed a few Levels - Added Sprites - Added more than just collectables - Redesigned some more things - Added some new enemies with more in the works - Removed Herobrine =========================================== - **Brotherly Redesigns - I love Original Vector but I'm going to to have to move on to a more versatile model (for design reasons and whatnot) (the screenshot did not come out as expected) and i'll keep the "Legacy Sprites in the project. - **Better Walk/Run/"Whatever You Want To Call It" Animations so they have more "life" to it. - Trample-Top Train & Objects (Not Coins b/c they cause auto-scroll and i'll fix the cause) - TTT Map Icon - Levels have Respective Music & Theme Pieces (Except Ground for the majority) - Made a BG piece for Lvl.9 (its a starter) - Changed Buttons to have more Vibrant NES Colors and a Reference to Luigi being a "Green Mario" with Borison - Changed More buttons to have both a description and more detail too - Reworked Gunshot Raceway Name & Layout to Popgun Raceway with Classic Rope Fence - Created 2 new non-solid objs; Spike Traps (Faceing Up RN of typing and has a slightly different design than @Toadfanschool's SMM Spike), and a new enemy: Crushball; as the name implys its a sentient, levitating stone that seeks to crush anyone who sweeps under it's sleep (has no on ground coolown yet so... and the range is short too... I'll fix at some point) - Renewed Yorene Boss a bit to get rid of the broken one - Added New Intros to All Bosses (to be a little bit more Sonic 3&K-esque) - Planning to add secrets unlockable through a sprite requirement from other projects (mines of course, so that it's not stealing) with a legacy-based name "Lock-On Sprites" - Added New Music for Shiftgear Shuffle (Even though I don't have the level started but it's a start.) ============================================= - ABSOLUTLY nothing the past 2 weeks out of procrastination and low motivation and frustration w the JPO's "wall breaking" code, at this point i'm convinced that its not a glitch but a bug. - Secrets moved to be activated here and not the game save code screen - to clarify something beforehand, you just need a code and that's it... the star coin is pure aesthetic (display, I had to ue auto-correct). - Will be adding independent music for both the CharSel. (SMB2 Player Select Remix) & S.CodeMenu (S3K Data Select Remix) ============================================= - Shadow Clone to Follow using Clones... ironically, and change it's costumes with the clones kinda like the stamping tool !- doesn't distance from player when moving past start/end of level. =========Doing the Gamemode Side-Project======== - 2 Bosses Finished (uhh... mostly (Mid-May)) + In the middle of fixing Y not spawning and immediately ending battle... since late may - Added PR & SD (Lvl. 5 & 6) - Plan some remodeling of PR - got something of a custom entity working ============================================= - Haven't done anything since Jan. - Recolored & Remodeled (Hills, Bushes & Signs) - Added Flowers & Trees to Foreground (will reduce some flowers to make room for some bushes - Looking Up Sprite (Replaced Jump ^ for Z & (temporarily) X (dat a surprise... make guesseses) - 70% Complettion of Lvl 6 (fixed typo being 7) (Going in a Random Order + Revamp/Redesigned Levels.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Completion: (Levels, certain conditions may be removed if it has been cleared or empty while on hold being the exception) Done: 0/14 (cuz revamp/design) - In Progress: 2/14 (1GH & 7??) - - On Hold: 0/14 - - - Untouched: 12/14 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---Will Add---: - add foreground bushes (i just remembered while typing and listing) - remove "World's Best" Time Scores to promote legit speed-running for Mike's World - Change Controls for Mobile (no it won't be a joystick this time) a smaller d-pad with "Extra Buttons on the Right... - Add Left Handed Mode for Planned Mobile Revamp - More NES Based Character Replacements for Buttons
