Hello. It is I, Treno. I am one of the adored followers in the godly lamb’s cult. None of us are guaranteed any more time, but also promised to live eternally. Our group is rather large. I fear the Lamb. Everybody does. He brought us into this land, and can take us out of it.. I came from Darkwood. I lived a happy life there once, and since they came, I was forced to escape. I was the only one left. As I sat there, the Lamb came and saved me from sorrow. Since then, I have been living in paradise. Of course, I only say this while he is nearby. Shall I dissent, I get punished. It is a simple approach. I must try to convince him to leave the site. Here I go then. As I approach the Lamb, I say, “Lamb, I have been trying to decorate my tent. May you please go out and fetch 10 flowers from Darkwood?” I finished. He looks at me with an annoyed face. “Treno, you know that I already have a plentiful amount of those, right?”. I get slightly worryful. He looks at me for a split second and shrugs, “Fine. I’ll go.” A wave of relief washed over me. Maybe I am taking it rather seriously. He runs off into his pentagram engraved on the stone, and goes off into Darkwood. I turn around and start walking around, with not quite that much to do. “Hey Treno, where are you going?” Almer asked. I had to be careful about what I shared with him. He was quite odd. I wasn’t sure what he would do. “Oh, I’m off to the refinery to make some more wooden planks.” I replied. I might as well make some more materials. They are a necessary resource in order to build more foundations and buildings for the camp. “Oh, alright. I can join you.” I had hoped he had not said this. Almer usually slacked off, and talked quite a lot. How annoying. I walked away towards the refineries, with Almer close by. As I was walking with Almer by, he exclaimed, “Hey Leshy!”, Almer said. I have a bad history with Leshy. He used to be one of the five bishops. He controlled Darkwood. He did that for a countless amount of time. But then, the Lamb came and slew the beast. Now, after he took care of The One Who Waits, he did it once again and convinced him to join the community. “Hmph. Salutations.” Leshy remarked snidely. He wasn’t always in the most eager attitude. However, he is a great chef aside from not having any form of vision that you could see, anyway. “Attitude much?” Almer said. He was very eager and positive. Every now and then, you would rarely see him act serious, as it just wasn’t his personality. “Mayhaps. Does thy have any intellectual comments about it?” Leshy sneered. Despite being indoctrinated into a follower, he could snap back at you rather quickly. He avoided getting into fights, but when he does, he most likely wins. “Why yes I do, w-” he began to say, when he got cut off by Leshy. “If you didn’t hear, I said intellectual. Not idiotic and foolish, as you always are.” I slowly walked away, when Almer lunged with vicious intent at Leshy. Now, I was most likely the only one that knew this, but Leshy wasn’t truly trying to insult him. If he was, he could have done much better. Perhaps he has already angered him today, and Almer decided to just lunge at him? By this time, there were already several crowding around. “Fight! Fight! Fight!” the overwhelming crowd of people yelled. Almer was attempting to swing at Leshy, but Leshy being a former bishop, he was remarkable at fighting. He swung Almer over his head, slamming him on the ground. Almer wasn’t in as much shape as he should have been. The fight ended soon after. Leshy being as wise as he is, he slowly walked off. He barely took any blows. Almer lay on the ground, in pretty bad shape. I walked away from the somewhat large crowd, when I saw Hina. “Hey!” I yelled at her. I ran over to her. “Did you see that fight?” I said. “Bro, I saw that. I wonder what sparked it?” she questioned. I looked over my shoulder and saw the Lamb come back from his voyage. He saw Almer, limping, and scolded him. “Almer? Why did you try to fight? Why did you attempt to fight? You know that’s against the rules as much as I do.” I flinched. I knew what was most likely going to happen after that. Almer was not going to be around much longer. “Anyway, I’m going to go get something. See you later?” I said to Hina. “Sure.” she said. I walked over to the outskirts of the base and started mining one of the rather large rocks on the outskirts of camp. “Hopefully Almer stays around.” I think out loud to myself.
After a while of mining, I thought of stopping, but then I saw the Lamb gleefully trotting in the big opening out of the corner of my eye. I quickly looked back to what I was doing, but he must have noticed, since he caught my eye and began walking over to me. “Is something bothering you, Treno?” the Lamb said to me. “O-oh, it’s nothing. I’m fine.” I replied. “Hm. I’ll talk to you later. Also, I got your flowers that you requested for me to get. Here.”, he said, and handed me the flowers. I have no real use for them, so I assume I will just throw them into the compost silo. Our crops need some extra maintenance nowadays. “Oh, uh, thanks.” I said, then I quickly shuffled off. I walked over the farm and looked over my shoulder, making sure that the Lamb was out of sight, as I then threw the flowers in the bin. While I was doing this, I heard the temple bell ring. It must’ve been time for a sermon, or perhaps a ritual. Many others, including one such as myself, walked hastily towards the large temple. As I stepped inside, the Lamb was standing on top of the altar, ready to preach. “Salutations, everyone.” the Lamb bellowed inside of the temple. “Our sermon will begin shortly.” I wasn’t worried, as it wasn’t much of a big deal. I’ve been through this before more times than I could count. “Allow me into your souls, and guide you and steer you away from sin.” the Lamb began to say. The rest of us instinctually gathered around into a circle. “Let all new followers see our way of life, and accept. All other than this is inferior, you shall remember. We will stay faithful through no matter the hardships, no matter what struggles we are going through. And with that, I must conclude tonight's sermon.” After he said this, we all went out to go to slumber in our luxurious tents. With this, night began. I knew we were safe during the night, we all did. But in the sheer darkness through the night, we are all a bit skeptical of falling asleep. Every once in a while, we would hear some strange sounds in the night. It was..rather strange. I often wondered what they were from, or who they were from. As I stared at the roof of my hut, I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. And with this, the next day began. As the sun rose, I opened my eyes, and was almost blinded by the sun, shining in my eyes. Today was especially bright. As I rose awake inside of my hut, I yawned, stretched, then stumbled my way outside. I didn't see many people awake yet, I figured I just woke up rather early. I went over to the farm to go ahead and do some work. I began to get some Camelia and Pumpkin seeds from one of the silos, and began to plant them in the dirt. While I was watering some of them, I saw Heket. Heket was another one of those…Bishops. She ruled over Anura with an iron fist. She was, most likely, the strictest of them all. Albeit, she governed well. I lived in Darkwood, so I have not seen him on many occurences. She was also not in a very good mood. She wasn’t much of a morning person. She grumbled as he tilled the dirt, the farmland. “Hey, um, Heket? There’s some more cauliflower and beetroot seeds in the silo, just thought I’d let you know.” I said to Heket. “Sure. I’ll plant it later.” She replied. For once being a powerful leader, she didn’t mind farming all that much. She seemed to enjoy doing it. I watered the crops once more, and I was on my way. I figured I might as well chop some trees while I’m at it- we were running low on lumber. Out of the corner of my eye, I see more followers waking up. It would make sense, as they can’t sleep all day. I walk over to some of the overgrown trees that have somehow made their way onto the campus. I grab an axe, and begin chopping down the tree. I wondered what was going to happen to Almer, as I haven’t seen him yet. Chop. I also wondered where the food was, as I am quite hungry. Chop. Mayhaps I should request some food? Chop. The question is, what food do I desire? Fish Feast, Grassy Gruel, or maybe even a Splendid Vegetable Feast? Chop. I haven’t had one of those in a while. Chop, chop, chop. As I made the last swing, the tree came crashing down. Of course, I got out of its way. When it finished falling, I began to harvest the tree. This part wasn’t that exciting, as it was quite time consuming. I waved over to one of my acquaintances, Trejulbre. “Hey! Trejulbre!” I waved and yelled at him. “Can you help me harvest this tree?” I went on. “Uh, sure, I guess.” He replied. He shuffled on over to the now fallen over tree, and began using his axe and helped me harvest it into lumber. “Have you heard about Almer? Sparkles told me about how he jumped at Leshy. Pretty dumb move, not gonna lie.” I nodded. blehhh you read part one, gotta do multiple because it is too big
