Bio): Name: Kostas (A name meaning constant in Greek) Gender: Male (He/Him) Age: As old as the human race. Personality: Self-absorbed. He only looks out for him and the consequences of now. More elaboration in the story but nowadays he’s more regretful and less narcissistic. Story): There were two brothers, Prometheus and Epimetheus, the two titans that created humanity. Prometheus was the embodiment of forethought, thinking for the future and what’s to come. Epimetheus was the embodiment of afterthought, thinking of the past and what had happened. A lesser known creation was Kostas. A cat of being created to be thinking of the present and nothing else. Constant, the time of then. Moving forward in an air of nothing but the present and the now. Kostas was a creature many looked forward to seeing in action, he would move with the new human beings through the ages. He would reflect the time everyone was in and the true nature of all sentient beings. But what they weren’t preparing for, was the opening of Pandora’s box. What started off as an innocent young cat, exploring the world with new vigor and wonder, was quickly infected with greed, hatred, pain and more. Kostas was abandoned, none of the Gods wished to watch this being no more than they wanted to watch the humans. So eventually, as time went on, he faded into the background. Kostas was a cat with a silver tongue, he had a voice that could lead others into safety, but could also lure them into traps. Kostas only ever thought of the consequences of what he did in the moment. Never in his life did he ever think of the future, or reflect on past mistakes. He would trick others with the hope of reaching the glee that would reside in the moment, but never accounted for whatever punishment he would receive later. Kostas’ favorite appendage was his tail. He had one of the most phenomenal tails amongst all beings. Its fur fell in silverly sections that were lighter than the smallest feather and fluffier than the whitest cloud. Whenever he encountered someone, it was this tail he used to gain the trust of whomever he was talking to. He distracted his target by waving his magnificent tail in the air whilst talking to distract them. They always listened, for who would be suspicious of a being who was gifted the gift of such a beautiful limb. His greed led him to these deceitful acts and he almost always got what he desired. One day, Kostas was trekking a forest path when he came across another cat. This cat was bigger than him, much bulkier, and had a pelt so radiant it looked gold. Kostas looked upon this fur with greed and jealousy. How dare another cat have a pelt better than his. He wanted to ruin this cat’s fur so he would remain the most beautiful. He approached the cat, his tail flaunting shamelessly in the air. He could tell the instant the cat's eyes caught onto it because they immediately widened in awe. Kostas grinned. He started talking, but the other cat was too distracted to listen. However, this is his plan. His tail held the attention of the golden cat, exactly what it was meant to do. Kostas offered the cat a deal, in return for his friendship, the golden cat would journey into a nearby woods to gather an herb for Kostas. The thing Kostas didn’t mention was the hunters that lurked in that forest. The golden cat eagerly agreed without thinking over the deal and made his way into the forest. While searching for the herb, the hunters found the golden cat and wanted his pelt. They ripped the pelt from him and left him bare, leaving to go sell the golden fur. The no longer golden cat was by itself in the forest, cold and alone. This cat, however, was the gift from the God Apollo to a human. When he looked down to check on his gift and found it bare, he was left furious and confused. He found Kostas, smug with self satisfaction and felt anger. He cursed Kostas, taking his lovely tail and using its fur to cover the golden cat, who would now become the silver cat, and cursed Kostas with a tail of a serpent. He used his tail for sly and deceptive deeds, and it was only fair it reflected those deeds. Kostas ran, and now exists with the cost of his actions every day. He doesn’t think about his past actions but he is forced to live with the consequences constantly.
I kind of formatted/made this story like a Greek myth and that’s why there’s no dialogue and how the actions are written as they are with bits of unrealisticness. However, I like it and think it’s cool! Art/Story: Me, @Alicornmagic1234 Design/Coding (tweaked by me): @Lolbite_Studios99
