This is the updated version of the last map. This is now the canon, the last one is not! Sorry that the quality is bad, I was using a tablet camera to take the picture! Wow, I wrote a LOT more lore since the last iteration, but apparently there is a limit to the amount of stuff you can put in the Notes And Credits section! And so I am splitting it between the two! Faction Kingdom Of Brittania (British Isles) A groups of lords serving under a singular King. The Brittanians are also very fond of “Grenadiers” who are elite troops armed with Muskets. The Brittanian peasants are usually not full on squalor living serfs but are in no means rich. They serve their lord and live a normal life. Medium Sized Army. Slow to mobilize large groups. High tech. Franswa Monarchy (France) The enemy of Brittania, the Franswa are famed for using Longbows and baguettes! The Franswa peasants are divided into three “tiers”, the elite lords who are spares but are insanely rich. The medium crafts men and tradesmen who have made a small fortune with clever business practices. And the serfs who live in slums and mud, there has been a ripple of rumors that some are planning on a second Franswa Civil War, but its just a rumor. Large Sized Army. Quick to mobilize. Medieval style. United Iberigoths (Spain) A handful of kingdoms barely holding themselves together via whoever is stronger than the others. Generally considered the underdog of the western kingdoms. Unlike most other nations, the peasants of the Iberigoths are incredibly hostile to outside forces, even peasants from one fief over! They very poor and its only made worse by constant raiding from different Iberigoth lords! Small Sized Army. Slow to mobilize. Early Medieval. Holy Templar (Think “Knight Templars mixed with Holy Roman Empire”) Once a powerful empire stretching as far as the eye could see, now its a cult like kingdom ruled by the High Council. Their capital was once the capital of the Respublica Imperialis, and their goal is to recreate the empire, but better, and holier! In practice though their really just a army of knights fighting whoever they want. The peasants, or citizens, of the Holy Templar are rich compared to most other kingdoms. They own their own house, maybe a ##### or two, and maybe even a business. However there are the non-citizens, people that don’t have a High Council citizenship and so are mistreated. Medium Sized Army. Normal mobilization. Like a mix of Roman Legions and Knight Templars. Frostlander (Scandinavian Vikings) Dozens of clans that form together in times of need. (In)Famous for raiding coastlines in longboats, axes, and shield walls. Generally have no opinion of politics and diplomacy. Their clan members, being clan members and not peasants, are only a little poorer than the clan leaders. Everyday life is generally pretty comfortable, and extremely bloody when raiding. Small Sized Army. Extremely fast mobilization. Nordic Viking raiders. Teutanian Order (Germany) A order of knights who directly oppose the Holy Templars. A council of knights rule the lands, it is called the Round Table. Well known for powerful knights in heavy armor. Members of the Round Table Rule the lands around their keeps, keeping good relations with their people, while still recruiting them to serve as footmen in Teutanian battles! Medium Sized Army. Fast mobilization. Noble Germanic Knights. Kozzaki (Cossacks) A loose group of tribes bordering the Eastern Sea. Well known for their skills of stealth and riding! Similarly to the Frostlanders, they do not get involved in wars if they can help it. However they do offer themselves as elite mercenaries to other kingdoms. The Kozzaki are very tribal and decisions are based on votes. When they go to war or send out mercenaries, the veteran and highly skilled warriors are put to a vote to decide who is the leader for this excursion. Surprisingly even woman are allowed a vote and are allowed to fight! Small Sized Army. Extremely Fast Mobilization. Early Cossack style army. Kieven Tsardom (Russian Empire) A massive empire stretching farther than most maps go. It might seem swell but its really just the rich Tsar overseeing hordes of serfs. Their army reflects this as its normally made up of Levy’s and very rarely Kozzaki horsemen. Oh who lives in this village? Serfs. Who lives in that Village? Serfs. Who lives in this village? Serfs. Thats pretty much the entire empire are serfs. When they go to war they don’t even get trained usually. Its really just “Heres a sword and a shield, go die for the Tsar”. Gigantic Sized Army, like really, its huge! Slow Mobilization. Medieval peasant army.
