Suraimu difficulty mode selector (DMS) buttons don't do anything, purely cosmetic, it's up to Grave to decide how difficulty levels are distributed. Normal Difficulty button works because it's the default, Graveheart can program other difficulties. Here's my suggestions for how difficulties work: Player HP easy: twice the shield health as normal. hard: no shield extreme: no shield and only half of normal health Slime Stats easy: reduced by 1/4 hard: increased by 1/4 extreme: increased by 1/3 Boss Health easy: reduced by half hard: increased by 1/3 extreme: increased by 2/3 Extras easy: slower wall slimes, no ranger slimes hard: ranger slimes exist extreme: extra attacks and faster movements on graveheart boss and corrupter boss, more health for ranger slimes normal is excluded from all of these suggestions because normal mode is already a balanced difficulty this project was made while I was supposed to be doing schoolwork, so this code was worse than usual. @graveheart for coming up with the idea of difficulty settings in October 2023 known bugs: easy button will dissapear after clicking normal, and can be fixed by starting the project over and over a few times to, for some reason show up again. sometimes the textbox will show up when the game hasn't started yet. I don't know the cause for it.
