I was thinking the other day, after I watched Kosmic's video on the secret Minus World Ending in the Famicom version of Super Mario Bros, (and after a lot of explanation,) I decided to make my own Mario fan game based on this idea. Kosmic explains that the Minus World is actually functionally World 36, since the blank tile that shows on the screen has a tile ID of 36, and...yeah, it's a whole thing, it would take me way too much text to explain it. Go watch it yourself if you're interested My point is, the idea I had was that there would be 36 levels for each world. 36 whole levels. It would go from numbers 1-9, then letters A-Z, then finally the blank tile that famously appears (or lack thereof) on the Minus World screen. That's already a lot, isn't it? But why stop there? Using the same logic, we could make 36 WHOLE WORLDS going from 1-9, then A-Z, then the blank tile. That would be 36 LEVELS for each of the 36 WORLDS. 36^2 totals out to... ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY SIX LEVELS. 1296 levels!? How!? Well, the long and short of it is, frankly, I don't know. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. But, I've already come up with a name for this game! It'll be called: Super Mario: Journey to the Minus World! Yes, I know that may sound a liiittle too similar to DJDamage's in-development game, Super Mario: into the Minus World, but, eh, tomato tomahto. Besides, they would be completely different, so it's probably not that big of a deal. But, what does this have to do with achievements? Well, these are simply achievements that I thought up one night while I was thinking about the game. Not entirely unlike the level count, they might get a little demanding...
