This is a "timer" I am using in my classroom. Class rules: -every time you accomplish a task click a check mark to see what you have earned. -if the teacher has to pause the game she will click the green flag and you will receive a strike when she restarts the game -great behavior increases you power ups and allows you to use them against your competing class. -3 strikes and you loose all your coins and power ups, become the last racer. decide what the power ups will do/are worth: (turtle shell, mushroom, lightening, bomb, bananas) TEACHER NOTES; clicking the check mark reveals a prize clicking a power up duplicates it pressing d deletes power ups clicking the green flag (on the car) pauses the game, hitting the space bar erases the score clicking the purple car allows a competitor to pass. students will get a star (about every 5, then 10, then 15 min.) speeds the car up and helps them earn coins more quickly. pressing f reaches the finish line.
