⚠️ Due to this story being based on a video game, many things are subject to change as the game updates. Changes will be posted in my profile comments. 【 T A L E S F R O M T H E P A T H 】 This project is part of a series that will cover the different locations in my story based on the dinosaur survival game Path of Titans developed by Alderon Games. 【 E N V I R O N M E N T 】 Click to cycle through the images. The blue line isn't a definitive border and may be slightly off. It's simply to help the reader better understand which area is being discussed. (Image 1) ➤ Desolate Pass is considered to have two distinct halves. The ground on the east side is brown, while the west side shows a slight hue of reddish purple. Foliage is abundant despite the lack of liquid water. Yarrows, rafflesias, succulents, and canna flowers can be found here. There are only two confirmed salt rocks in Desolate Pass. (Images 2-3) ➤ Some areas in the east side are elevated with cliffs, usually sandy in terrain. (Image 4) ➤ The upper part of the east side is a network of canyons, which are narrow and sandy. There are areas above the cliffs to watch passersby below. (Image 5) ➤ The west side has a sandy passageway that is wider overall, but is still narrow at the bottom. Each side has higher ground with rocky ledges. (Image 6) ➤ Instead of canyons, the lower part of the west side is more mountainous. It's relatively easy to traverse if the dirt and sand is followed, and melons can be found here. They are the only source of water for the animals of Desolate Pass. (Image 7) ➤ A Homecave can be found in the side of one of the mountains. A moderately level incline leads up to it. (Image 8) If you want to know where Desolate Pass is relative to the rest of Gondwa, here's a link to the full map! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/996527200 【 I M P O R T A N T C H A R A C T E R S 】 These are characters that have Desolate Pass as a relevant location in their lives. ◈ Wanderer (visitor) ◈ Makerato (home, west) ◈ Wuninjaka (home, east) ◈ Agapizita (visitor)
Images are screenshots I took from Path of Titans. I think this is the largest location I've dealt with so far ^-^' And yes, lately we've been looking at some "dry" locations (besides Ocean Pillars and Hotsprings), since this region of the map is kinda arid >.< The next one will be more moist tho! Also, you may have noticed Wanderer being in every single project in this series- that's just part of his character, you'll be seeing a lot more of him-
