Click the Green Flag twice. This can get a bit laggy. This is meant to be played in Normal Mode (you can try turbo mode but trust me, it's hard) You are a Shade Gun Turret. You have to stop the enemies from reaching the left side of the screen. The blue numbers on the left show your score and the variable on the right shows your lives. ---Weapons--- Press Space to shoot Plasma Bolts. Press Z to shoot a Missile. This explodes on impact and destroys everything in its blast radius except the Boss. The light to the left of your gun stand will turn green when the Missile is ready to use and red when it is reloading. The Missile takes 10 seconds to reload after firing Press X to overcharge the cannon and shoot a Super-Laser. This destroys everything on contact except for the Boss. You cannot fire your other weapons while the Laser is charging or firing. The light to the right of your gun stand will turn green when the Laser is ready to use and will turn red when it is charging. The Laser takes 25 seconds to recharge after firing. ---Enemies--- The small red enemy is a Drone. They are weak and take 3 Plasma Bolts to kill. They take 1 life if they reach the edge of the screen. They increase your score by 1 upon death. The small purple enemy is a Teleporter. They teleport to a random location on their Y-Axis every two seconds. They take 5 Plasma Bolts to kill. They deal 1 life of damage when they reach the edge of the screen and increase your score by two upon death. The big red enemy is the Boss. It has 20 HP. The Plasma Bolt does 1 HP of damage to him, the Missile does 5 HP and the Super-Laser does 10 HP of damage. If it reaches the edge of the screen it will take 5 lives. It increases your score by 10 upon death. --Overheat Bar-- When you fire the Plasma Bolts, a bar at the top of the screen will fill the longer you shoot. It will start emptying when you stop firing. If you fire for too long and the bar fills up, your gun will have to cool down and you cannot fire Plasma Bolts during this time (It takes a while to cool down so be careful).
@Goofballs for the concept of the particles around the Turret when you fire the Laser (script by me, though) for the Text Rendering Engine. I now know how to make it off by heart (letters and animation by me) --Music-- Track 1: Norin and Rad - "Arrival" Remix Track 2: Halo 4 (composed by Neil Davidge) - Arrival (Midnight Version) I thought making this was going to be simple and relatively easy compared to my other games. I was so wrong. I'm pretty sure this is one of my most complex games yet. It was considerably hard to make and it gets a bit laggy at times. I don't even want to know how many days it's been since I first started this (I'm pretty sure it's been over a month) I spent a long time on this so please comment your opinion on the game and maybe give a like and favourite I might add a couple of powerups in a future update. Until then, please enjoy --New/Unique Features-- This is the first time I have used a Text Rendering engine. I used this to make the fancy entrance for the Game Over text. I also added a new scoring system so that when the score is presented on the Game Over screen. The digits are always equally spaced and not on one side of the screen.
