At the beginning, you have 4 buttons, (red, blue, yellow, and green), and you will get a random sequence of those 4 buttons, which will also be a random length. You can see the length/progression of the current sequence, and restarting the project will generate a new starting sequence. You have to match the sequence without messing up. If you do mess up, you lose, and you have to start over from the beginning. After the first sequence, you get a new sequence and a new color, which is violet. You'll have to do the same thing again as you did in the first sequence. After that, you get orange and white, then you'll start to get letters and symbols, and eventually you have 21 buttons and an absurdly long sequence you need to keep track of. At the very end, you'll see your time, (not including the times when the sequence is being read out). SECRET: If you want to access CHEAT MODE, type 1234 on your keyboard. Press SPACE to pause/unpause time, and press S to skip the current sequence you are on. (Skipping sequences is currently bugged, please read in bug report below.) If you want to leave CHEAT MODE, type 1234 on your keyboard again.
This game was made for the "Just too Much" game jam by Griffpatch/Griffpatch Academy! The idea was partly inspired by the "Musical Memory" minigame from Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 For anyone wanting to speedrun this game, here are the categories for this game: Not restarting the project to get a new sequence: NoRestart% or Any% Restarting the project to get a new sequence: Restart% Using CHEAT MODE is not allowed in speedruns for this game, as it can skip every sequence and pause the timer. As a little bonus, the game also has an in-game timer, so you don't need to have an external program for getting your records. There is a bug in this game only present in CHEAT MODE, where skipping a sequence will actually skip all of them, if enough people want it fixed, I will fix it. But for now, I feel like it isn't important enough to worry about
