Click to progress through the project. “What is a Corevi?” A Corevi (meaning ‘core strength’ in Latin, pronounced “Core-vee”) is a humanoid, lion-like creature with distinct features based on the theme of its ‘core’, which replaces the being’s heart and is essential to its existence. The core can be strengthened through the bloodshed of others and its strength influences both the Corevi’s rank in society and their appearance. The strongest Corevis are overgrown, dangerous creatures that rule over their tribe, while the weaker ones slowly work their way to the top. Corevis tend to live for about 200 years, reaching mature at about 50, but this can be extended with a higher kill count. “Can I make my own Corevi?” Of course! Just follow the instruction within the project and make sure to give credit. I’m hoping to possibly form a roleplay out of it once I’m done with school. “How do tribes work?” Every Corevi belongs to a tribe, even if they’re the only one in it. Tribes are a core component of Corevis, and usually contain a few families working together as one. Corevis tend to migrate between tribes when changing ranks, so their tribe is always temporary. While tribe chiefs control the tribe, deputies are their second in command. Senior warriors are loyal, dedicated fighters, hunters are dedicated prey-finders for the tribe, apprentice warriors learn from the seniors, healers support the tribe in healthcare, and subordinates grow to help their tribe in the future. “How modern are Corevis?” Despite living in tribes, Corevis have a fair amount of development within them. Houses are built with wood and are pretty sturdy, and although clothes aren’t necessary, they are available as luxuries and accessories. No transport systems or large amounts of infrastructure development has been discovered yet. Tribal villages often have a few houses, a town centre and multiple marketplaces to allow other tribes to communicate. Instead of money, Corevis trade their items for other things like food. “What do they look like?” Despite there being an example in the project, here are a few other examples, just to get a feel for the species: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1005155145 Any other questions?
