She swore, one more day and her arms were going to fall off. Gale walked over to her, a grim expression painting his face. "Venus, there's something I need to tell you." She looked at him, worry tinting her eyes. "Yes?" He looked down. "I-I have to leave Hogwarts." He said, his head hanging low. "WHAT?" Venus cried. "W-why?" He gave her one last sad look. "I'm sorry, Venus. Goodbye." Gale said, walking off. ... the next day ... Venus sat in the courtyard, her hands shaking. A familiar blond-haired boy poked his head in the entrance and spotted her crying. She wiped her tears, looking up. "Oh, hi Jason." She said as he sat down next to her. "Venus-" He started. "What's wrong?" She looked down. "Gale. He-he left..." She choked. Jason looked at her sympathetically. "I'm sorry..." He murmured. She looked up. "It's fine. He said he'll stay in contact." She looked back down. Jason held her hand for a few moments, not seeming to notice what he was doing and quickly pulled away, blushing. Not noticing, Venus looked at him. "Hm?" She asked. "N-nothing." He stammered, looking away. "Wait, do you have a crush? Wait- let me guess. Caly?" Jason shook his head. "Willow?" He shook his head again. She desperately began listing names, trying to find out who this person was. "Venus." He said, stopping her. "What?" He looked down. "I-it's you."
