STORY: It’s midnight, and you are alone in a land full of spikes, platforms, and lakes… You can use arrow keys, WASD, or mobile to move. IMPORTANT: There is one glitch in the game where you get stuck and have to start over in the “Don’t fall” level. Just don’t wall-climb or touch the lower half of the platform with the spike. Otherwise you should be all good!
Original code from Platformer by @HarryPotter2602 (Note: I tried my best to make it more challenging and interesting!) 12-29-24: Hi, guys! It's been quite a while since I first posted this, and let me just say thank you for making this my most popular project with (currently) 11 hearts + stars, 1 remix, and 120 views. It has come to my attention that in the months following me posting this, there has been an increasing issue with generic platformers that just copy-and-pasted code from other, equally generic projects. This project is one of those instances. I will not be taking it down since I haven't gotten any negative feedback on it (besides the bugs, sorry, those are a real issue! The game wasn't always like that but at least it spices things up) and I think I've managed to add my own touches to it. I also credited the original writer of the code (see above). I hope this doesn't sound too hypocritical, but you shouldn't just make a bunch of generic platformers with the same basic, stolen code in order to gain attention and get on trending (like some Scratchers I could name). This is the only generic platformer I have made, excluding its sequel, Sunrise. The rest of my content is completely original, besides some little quizzes and such that are encouraged to be remixed. Sorry if this seems like a random rant for no apparent reason, I just want to make it clear that every single person on Scratch, including whoever is reading this, is capable of making quality and original content. Even if your generic project makes trending, is it really worth it if you didn't even earn it? That's all for now. If you read this far, congratulations! I have to admire your stamina listening to the rants of a talkative 12-year-old given too much word count. Have an amazing 2025! Your friend (hopefully?)
