Information in regard to the aircraft: The Boeing 707 was the first American built jetliner, put into operational service in the 50s with the airline, Pan Am. It was also considered America's first commercially successful jetliner, and is usually said to be one of the first planes used for the jet age as well. With over 1,000 units built, there were three types of variants, with multiple big airlines using them at the time.
