So, this is just my species, Fluffs. I made these a couple years ago, so I revamped them a little bit. I still don't think they're unique enough to be patented (except maybe the domestics), so feel free to make a knock-off if you're not willing to go through the process to obtain these creatures which me and a friend have been working on since we were nine. Now, with that out of the way. I have a little bit of an explanation for them. Domestics: Domestics are very tiny, around the size of your average baby rabbit. This can mean you have a lot of space for them. As you can see in the drawing, they have no back legs, unlike their counterparts. They have become incredibly docile, being one of the fastest species to be domesticated. They are the definition of a lazy pet, mostly just shuffling around all over your floor. They are very fluffy, which makes them an adored pet for some, and a nuisance for others due to their frequent shedding. Heterochromia is almost common, with around 2 in five having it, mainly a variant of blue and green. They have a variety of fur colors, including colors impossible on most other animals. They are mainly paler colors, but sometimes have darker accents. They have droopy ears, and are known for needing a large social life. Most owners of Fluffs have groups of them (multiple Fluffs are a Floof). Fluffs are best managed in groups of four to eleven. If owners don't wish to have more than one or two, it's recommended that they talk with other owners of Fluffs, to give them their social time. Fluffs are unfortunately completely unable to survive in the wild, between their unnatural coloring, lack of back legs, and lack of survival skill and instinct. For their small size, they eat a lot. They can live off of about how much you'd feed a cat for the day, but are known for getting into human food. One last thing, they are very squishy. a good chunk of their body just kind of lacks bone. Like the slugcat from Rain World, they can squish into some tight spaces. Kips - shown on the bottom, they are hybrids between Domestics and Wilds. They generally retain back legs, though many are born with some form of a leg deformity (it can be located almost anywhere, and be a variety of things). They have slightly more natural coloring, with a more washed out color palette with patches of less natural coloring. They are docile, though not as docile as Domestics, and require more food and exercise. They are about the size of a Chihuahua or other small dog, and their needs correspond pretty closely. They are fiercely protective of their 'family' and generally imprint on a specific human, being neutral to or actively disliking being near other humans without their human. They have more bones than the other two groups, and, again, are mostly like your average small dog. Wilds - these are a very fierce form of Fluffs, and are known to carry many diseases, so do be careful when near them. They are very territorial, towards other fluffs and other animals. They are around the size of a small rabbit, and aren't seen very often, as they are very much naturally colored, almost always being a variation of brown, with brown or green eyes. They can be caught and tamed, but it will take great caution and months to make an attempt to do so. Much like Kips, they imprint once tamed, but unlike Kips they are aggressive towards other humans. It is advised to only keep two. A male and a female, both spayed/neutered.
Other notes on Fluffs (also, structed part of open species explained down below): -They have a lot. of. babies. Generally and average of eight or nine per litter -Wilds can technically have unnatural colors, and vice versa with Domestics, but it is very uncommon, and very rare in the case of Wilds. *Structured* meaning: So I'm thinking of setting up a ranked system if you'd like to make one. All you need to do to join this ranked system is comment that you want to join down below. I'll have a form a little bit later. In the first rank, you can use a form to enter a drawing for a Fluff, and if you are selected, I will draw your Fluff and release a project for it, or in batches if demand gets higher. I will talk about further ranks once I get people joining! Response forms will be how I reply once you get accepted. Once I draw your Fluff, you can feel free to do with is as you wish! <3 Form: Username with the @| Type of Fluff | a description of your fluff | codeword (if you have received one) | any special requests Response form: accepted! | type of fluff for confirmation | description of fluff for confirmation | your new rank | Fluff # | any notes | other
