A failed last-stand by Dynabloxian troops against elite Knolevian Grenadiers + infantry was what truly allowed Tekker and Charolette Bloxite to gain popularity back in 1820, as their nation's defeat was so crushing that riots actually broke out in Dynabloxia because of it, and their lack of faith in their actual nation led them to search for people potentially capable of supporting better regimes.... or whatever.
