aaa this is such a good design!! im in love cont. backstory in the comments because it won’t fit here Ayaru and Sol were the newest deities to the sun and moon. Sol would take after his mother, Marisol, and Ayaru would take after her father, Sen. Ayaru’s parents always favored her though. Usually when it was her birthday, or it was Christmas, she’d get more gifts than her brother. Sol grew quite envious of her, but Ayaru didn’t think anymore about it. Sol looked at Ayaru, wanting to be just like her. When they turned 15, their parents started training them. Sol struggled through each of the training sessions, while Ayaru passed through each test easily, while a few flaws. After their training, they said that Ayaru can choose where they can eat. Sol tried to refute, but his mother shushed him. Ayaru chose a local restaurant, and they went. She chose a big meal, and didn’t finish it. Sol on the other hand, was chosen a small dish by his parents. He finished it, and when he asked for more, her was turned down, even after he offered that he could finish Ayaru’s leftovers. As time went by, Ayaru eventually turned into a great warrior, and became one of the knights. 3 years later. Sol was sleeping in his bed, when a strange figure woke him up. Sol wanted to scream, but he couldn’t. The figure walked out of the room, gesturing Sol to follow. Sol crept out of bed, slowly sneaking past his father, who was planning their ceremony to become the next deities. He snuck into the library, and into the restricted section. Then, The figure disappeared into a book, telling Sol to grab it. Sol grabbed the book and read it, using his fur to read the text. It was a bunch of spells, but one stood out from the rest. As he read it, he felt something slowly taking over him. Sol panted, and sighed. He put back the book, and slowly walked out of the library. But just before he went to his room, his father stopped him. “And where do you think you’re going?” The next day. Today was the day they would be in charge of their parents duties. As they got ready for the ceremony, Ayaru noticed that Sol was acting different. He was more dull, and his sclera was gray. Ayaru signed, asking if he was okay. Sol said he was fine, and that she didn’t need to worry. They walked out, and into the stage, where they were announced as the new deities of the sun and moon. As Ayaru was about to walk off stage, she noticed something was wrong with Sol. He was hyperventilated, and was about to collapse. Ayaru rushed over to help Sol, but a big explosion occurred, separating the both of them. The city fell into chaos. Sol was going on a rampage, trying to find Ayaru. He took Sen and Marisol hostage, as payback for all the neglect they’ve done to him. Sol hid them away in a dungeon, in hopes that they’ll change their minds about him. But they never did, and the dungeon holds their bodies, which have decomposed. Ayaru was flown out of her city, and she flew across space for a while, frozen over. After a while, she started nearing a small forest, and down she fell. She was still frozen over, slowly melting each year. The forest cats knew of her presence, but never really bothered to check up on her. They were scared, not knowing of the disaster that struck upon her. . . . Ayaru woke up from her frozen slumber. She slowly got up, and opened her eyes. She noticed that something was… different. Unlike Photon City, it was just… grass, and trees everywhere. There were houses in the trees, like a village. Ayaru got up from the grass, walking over to one of the trees. It looked lively, but she couldn’t see any cat in sight. She sighed, and decided to fly over to one of the houses. She knocked on the door, to see if anyone was there. No one answered, but she definitely heard a noise in there. Weird. She didn’t think much of it, and went away. She walked around, looking at the empty vendors. Ayaru flew down, landing on the soft grass. As she landed, she heard a small sounds. Footsteps. She turned around, and saw a small mushrooms hat peeking from the bushes. She walked closer. The bush shuffled away from her. Odd. She decided to lure the weird mushroom out of the bush. She put the scent of a fish nearby, placing it near her, then flew up so that the weird mushroom wouldn’t see her. The mushroom looked around, before coming out to eat. It wasn’t a mushroom, it was just a plain, ordinary cat with a mushroom for a hat. She flew near her. The mushroom hat cat gasped. Ayaru waved “hi”, trying to start a conversation, but the cat was shocked, frozen in place. Ayaru wondered, was she really that scary? She sighed, and tried to sign, hoping that the strange cat would understand. “Do you happen to know where we are?” Ayaru signed. The Mushroom Hat Cat tilted their head. “Errr… what did you just do?” Ayaru sighed. She knew it wouldn’t work. She decided to walk off, motioning for the Mushroom Hat Cat to follow. But the cat just stood there, and ran off.
