aaaaaaaaaa its my voice again anyways, im answering a comment here. if you have any questions, here's where to ask them: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/792499196/ Art Dump 5 will be the next thing i post... its coming very soon. until then, enjoy my gross art dump 4: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/924657506/ really cool background by @Jablecznik2000 nice piano music is Allusive by Matt Christensen ill put the script here just incase anything i mumble comes out unintelligible... -------------------------------------------------------------------- So i got this comment a while back, asking how i make my drawings, so I made this project to explain my art process. my digital art program of choice is called sketchbook. its a free app, and while it doesn't have as many brushes as something like ibis paint, i really like how the interface looks. Anyways... the first thing i do is draw the anatomy of the character using a pencil brush. Anatomy works like a rough draft for your drawing so that you can make sure you get the pose and proportions of your drawing right. Anatomy can look different depending on the style and level of realism. My style of anatomy uses long limbs, big hands and feet, and small shoulders, cause i think it looks cooler. the next thing that ill do is go over the drawing again, adding the clothes, hair, face and other stuff like that. Once i think it looks good, i go over it one more time, this time with a pen brush, and then add the color by filling the outlines with a bucket tool, and sometimes ill add shading, but not in this one. Lastly, for this drawing, i wanted a simple background, so i added some texture, paint splats, and text. and there you have it. I'm also going to show a traditional art example, since i like to use both mediums. i wanted to make a comic page drawing, so the first thing i do is sit down staring at a blank sheet of paper until i have created the drawing and layout in my mind. the drawing in my head doesn't have to be detailed, i fill the detail in later as i draw it. So i come up with a layout and i put it on paper and start working on a light sketch. you'll see here that on the more difficult pose, i draw the anatomy to get the perspective right... And once I'm done with the light sketch ill go over it again with more pressure on the pencil, and clean the drawing up. i like to use the 12 Crayola color pencil pack to color my drawings. and there you have it, a drawing. I hope you enjoyed this, and if this project is received well, i might make more detailed tutorials on how i draw separate parts of the body, clothes, and stuff like that. thank you, bye. *explodes* --------------------------------------------------------------------
