Thanatos was standing next to Chiron in Olympus, waiting for the gods to acknowledge them. Currently, they were talking about mortals ignorance with certain things, like the wave of terror that Rein unleashed when he stole the Helm of Darkness, and what they might do to keep the ignorance going. Zeus and Poseidon were clearly having an argument about d3@th's son, and Thanatos listened in. "Είναι ο υπηρέτης του Άδη! Φυσικά ήταν εύκολο!" Zeus cried. Thanatos shook his head. *Just because he's the servant of Hades, doesn't mean it was easy, Lord Zeus,* Thanatos thought to himself. "Υπομονή αδερφέ. Αμφιβάλλω ότι ήταν εύκολο για τον γιο του θανάτου να προδώσει τον πατέρα του," Poseidon said, noticing the god of d3@th listening in. Hades was rolling his eyes at his younger brothers, thinking, *Why won't they just sh|_|t up? Younger brothers are insufferable.* He shuddered, and then thought, *There are more important things going on. My Helm was stolen by my servant!* Thanatos smiled slightly at the thought that Rein wouldn't have found it easy to betray him, but he still knew it wasn't true. And he knew that Lord Zeus did not understand the word Patience. The two brothers then turned to Thanatos and Chiron, and spoke as one. "Είναι γιος σου. Εσύ ήσουν υπεύθυνος γι' αυτόν, αλλά εξακολουθεί να αδικεί." Thanatos shook his head, pleading. *Please, don't take away my mortality for my son's mistake!* He got on his knees, and begged the two brothers. "Please, my lord.Δεν είναι δικό μου λάθος!" Lord Zeus looked at him and said, "He's your son. If you had taught him the ropes, then he wouldn't have any of his mistakes!" Chiron was standing beside him, and spoke up. "My Lord, excuse me for interrupting, but it's not Thanatos's fault that Rein Meleager Thomas is stubborn like his mother, Helen Thomas." Thanatos stiffened at her name and growled, "Don't say her name." Chiron glanced at him, and nodded. Thanatos knew Chiron was only trying to help, but he h@t3d it when people mentioned his l()v3, especially when he was standing right there. "He's the man who fell in l()v3 with Helen," Zeus growled back in response. He turned his gaze to Thanatos, and said, "If you weren't the god of the d3, I would take away your godly powers. But since you are the god of d3, there's nothing I can do except to c|_|rse your children." Thanatos immediately thought of Themis, and cried, "No my Lord! Please don't! My daughter! Themis, don't hurt her." Poseidon stiffened beside his brother, and said, "She already knows about you and Rein." Themis walked into the hall of the gods, and saw her father standing before two of the brothers of Kronos. She kneeled at the feet of Zeus, and said, "My Lord." Thanatos froze, and looked at the king of the gods. Zeus nodded, and the daughter of Thanatos kneeled at the god of the sea's feet. He also nodded, and said, "Rise, Themis Levine, Daughter of Thanatos, Lord of the D3." She stood up, and announced, "My brother is already here. He has been listening for some time." Themis looked at her father with cold eyes, eyes that he didn't think were possible for a six year old to have. Rein, hidden in the shadows and invisible because of the Helm of Darkness, smiled at his sister. He knew that she knew that he was here. But he didn't think she would be so bold to declare it in front of the gods. Rein showed himself, and said, "Now, Chiron, Father, I thought I just told you NOT to talk about me behind my back?" He asked with a smirk. Hades glarred at him, and said, "Give me back my helm, boy." Rein laughed, and said, "I'm not a boy, Hades." When he felt like he could speak to a god like that, he didn't know. But it made him feel good. He turned to his sister, and said softly, "Themis, come with me. I'll teach you everything you need to know." "Despite knowing about your abilities for less than two weeks," Lord Hephaestus said with a smirk. He was, for some reason, enjoying this interaction with the son of d3. "I've known about my father for six years," Rein argued, shooting a look at the god of blacksmiths and fire. The god himself laughed, and rolled his eyes. He turned back to Themis, and said, "Please, Themis. Deimos wants to meet my little sister." The council of the gods was watching him carefully. Lord Hermes was grinning at the trickster son of Thanatos. Lady Athena was deep in thought, trying to figure out Rein's motive. Lady Artemis was thinking about their last conversation, and shuddered at the son of d3. Lord Apollo was smiling intimately at Rein, remembering Meleager, and how they are so similar. He was thinking it was a pity he had been claimed by Deimos. Themis looked at the three brothers of Kronos, who were watching the scene carefully. She slowly walked up to Hades, who picked her up with a small smile. Themis buried her face in the gods chest, ignoring the looks of shock from her father and brother. The other gods weren't surprised by this. In fact, they all looked
like they've known this for a while. "What the h3||?" Thanatos said, forgetting to watch his language. He was so shocked, he didn't even know how to react. Rein was trying not to hyperventilate. He had always imagined what would happen if he saw Themis again. But it was clearly not going the way he thought it would be going. He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. "Fine, if you don't want to meet him, I guess he'll just have to meet you himself," Rein said with a sigh. He looked at the council of the gods, and smiled. Then he winked, and said to Themis, "I'm sure he'll see you in your nightmares soon enough." Themis, however, was not backing down. From Hades' arms, she looked at her brother, and said, "We'll see about that, Meleager." "My name is not Meleager, for the one millionth time!" Rein yelled at his half sister. He clenched his fist, and looked at the gods. "Next time you see me, it won't be pleasant!" Then, he shadow-traveled to Chaos's lair, where he collapsed in the sofa. He dimly saw Deimos and Chaos rush out, and look at him with pained expressions. Then, his eyes closed, and he feel into a dreamless sleep.
