Art style inspired by Historigraph I was too lazy to scale the pictures so ahh... Click the picture to switch classes (Chronological Order) Here are the subclass differences: 1. The Nokaze subclass was of the Minekaze class, refitted to be identical to the follow-on Kiyokaze class. 2. The Special types were indeed separated into three groups, which we're familiar with. 3. The Ariake subclass featured a beamier hull and less draft than the main Hatsuharu class. 4. The Umikaze subclass had a rounded conning tower as opposed to the rectangular one of the main class. 5. The Kagerou and Yuugumo "Classes" are all Type A. 6. The two subclasses of Type B had simplified designs to enable mass production. 7. Sixteen ships of Type C were ordered, but only Shimakaze was built before the orders were canceled. 8. The Tachibana subclass featured a further simplified design than the main class for the same reasons as the Type B destroyers.
