Part 1 of chapter 10; An Island of Skulls & Bones: --- Fortuna lit a Fire Card, casting an light on the boat. He carefully inspected about everywhere he could get to,but finding nothing. He closed his palm, and the card extinguised. "I suppose it's just Umbra." "..." [bang] -- [crash] "Land ho?" Fortuna said weakly as he got up. Umbra opened the hatch. "Land already?" Umbra climbed up. Fortuna shrugged. "I didn't see it. Where'd all this fog come from?" Fortuna winced. Pain shot through his head. He took off his jester hat. a small lump was there. "I must have hit my head when we crashed." Fortuna said to himself, and Umbra nodded. "Come on." Umbra jumped off the boat, then proceeded to scream. A dark figure was standing above Umbra. Fortuna instinctivly threw two cards at the figure above Umbra. They hit their mark, exploding. The figure flew backwards into the fog. "Ow." a muffled sound came from the figure, and it stood up, dusted itself off, and held up it's staff, which glowed sea green, like some parts Fortuna counldn't make out. "Watch it, Fortuna, next time, huh?" they said. "Sorry Umbra. Didn't mean to scare you like that." Umbra got up. "Crypt?" Crypt nodded. "Who else?" Fortuna jumped down from the boat. To his surprise, he did not land on sand. The ground beneath him crunched. Fortuna looked down. He was stepping on a skull. Before he could scream, however, Crypt covered his mouth. "Shh." Crypt grabbed Umbra. "Let's get to safety. Quietly." "What?" Umbra asked. "Why?" "Your scream alerted the skeletons. This is beyond my lines." Crypt said calmly. He held his staff up, then slammed it into the ground, and a bright sea green flash followed, making Fortuna's headache hurt worse. Fortuna blinked. They weren't on the Skull beach anymore. They were on a high mountain, in a overlook made of pale wood. Fortuna took a step towards the edge. Crypt shifted behind him. "Welcome to The Island of Skulls and Bones."
