Have you ever wanted to play a Tetris-style game? Well if you didn't, idk what to say, and if you did, Block Drop is the perfect game for you! You have 8 colors on a 8x8 grid where you have to stack each color in 2x2 boxes to gain points! But be careful, if you go too high, your game will end very shortly! _____________________________________________ Notes: - Red, Blue, Green, Orange, are all common blocks, they give the normal amount of points. - Pink, Cyan, Purple, & Yellow are all rare blocks, they give double the normal amount of points. - The more blocks you "box", the more your points multiplier increases and you gain more points. - Over time, the speed of the falling increases, making it harder to move fast enough! _____________________________________________ Controls: - "WASD & Arrow Keys" to move around. The down arrow and the 'S' key help you move down faster when held down! - 'P key' to pause and unpause the game! _____________________________________________ Development Notes: - I know I have more advanced projects I should be working on, but I felt like I should make a more simplistic project and this was the perfect idea. This totally didn't originate because I tried to remake Tetris and it didn't work out, totally ;D - (also I kinda got tired of working on advanced projects and I do enjoy the style of minimalistic games like Tetris so that's another reason this exists since I still enjoy coding.) _____________________________________________ Honorary Players: (people who got high-scores) - ThatSnipeGuy (score of 1015 [I got lucky lol]) _____________________________________________ Cloud Variables Stuff: - If you beat the current world record (via cloud variable), then you set the variable to your score & you also get a shoutout with your username saved to the score :D - There may be problems with the cloud variables not saving right even though it counts to the monitor but not going to the actual project, I think it's just a bug with Scratch that's been around for a while since I've seen this on my older projects as well when I try to upload them (since I make these on mods), so if you can comment your highscore below, that would be really helpful! _____________________________________________ Hashtags: #all _____________________________________________
