Prologue: The Letter- Lydia Nova Granger-Weasley was sitting with her sister, Rose Granger-Weasley on the ground imagining them in the future, battling Dark Wizards when she heard a voice, ‘Lyd! Wake up!’ Lydia groaned as she turned around on her back, letting her eyes adjust to the sudden light and then groaned, ‘What is it Rose’ ‘Umm… sorry if I interrupted your beauty sleep Lyd but they came!’ Rose told her squealing with excitement. Lydia thought for a second who they were and then asked, ‘Wait seriously! The owls finally came!’ ‘Yep! They did!’ Rose answered with a smile. They both ran out of her room and tore the letters open. HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY headmistress: Minerva McGonagall (Order of Merlin, first class, grand sorc, chf warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed of Wizards) Dear Lydia Nova Granger-Weasley, We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at the Hogwarts School For Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1st. We await your owl by no later than 31st July. Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Headmistress Lydia peaked over Rose’s shoulder to see that she had gotten almost an identical letter and they both were so excited they squealed so loud that they almost blasted Ron and Hermione’s eardrums, who were still in the other room. ‘OMG! OMG! Rose, can you believe it!’ Hermione shouted from the other room, ‘Everyone knew you were going to get it, it’s not that big of a deal!’ ‘Yes mom’ Rose and Lydia chorused together. Lydia couldn’t believe it. She was going to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry! (PLS READ THE WHOLE NOTES AND CREDITS THANKS!)
