Decimal time is a system that was adopted briefly during the French revolution. A day is divided into 10 decimal hours, each of which are divided into 100 decimal minutes, which each have 100 decimal seconds. Noon is 5, midnight is 0. Now with a time conversion feature! ---Why decimal time?--- You can express the time as a percent of a day. For example, 8:92:31 is 89.231% of the way through the day, or 0.89231 of a day. It's also really easy to convert seconds into minutes. When you think about it, our current time system is really weird. Why the heck would we divide things into sixty when we use ten for almost everything else?
