the real time factor is using a sin wave going back and forth between 0 and 1 depending on the time of the day. 12:00 = 1 00:00/24:00 = 0 06:00/18:00 = 0.5 An example of how this can be used is on a brightness effect of this originally black background multiplied by 100. This makes it completely white at the middle of the day and black at midnight.
