Chapter 3: A new friend- The next day, Lydia woke up to a lot of screaming. She got up and saw a bunch of people just talking, well maybe that was not perfectly true. They were shouting at the top of their voices about, which was the correct way to hold a broom? She got ready and walked out to see a girl coming out of the Hufflepuff common room. ‘Hi Lydia!’ The girl called out. ‘Umm… who are you?’ Just as she said that, a memory flashed inside her head from the sorting. That was Hailey Malfoy… Scorpius’s sister. ‘Hailey Malfoy! My brother told me you were friends with him!’ ‘Ya… Hi Hailey!’ Lydia told her ‘Call me Haize!’ Hailey told her happily. ‘Oh ok Haize! You can call me Lyd’ ‘So Lyd, where are you off to right now?’ ‘The library! Wanna come?’Lydia asked Hailey happily like she always was whenever talking about books or anything related to them. ‘Yep sure!’ They walked over to the library and read for a while before they both had to go to their classes. Time skip: After a delicious dinner, everyone turned to Professor McGonagall when she called out, ‘Miss Granger-Weasley, come to the head’s office now!’ ‘Umm which one?’ Rose and Lydia called out at the same time and then shot a glare at each other. ‘Miss Lydia’ McGonagall told them. Lydia got up and wondered what this was about. She walked over to the office with McGonagall. They sat down and she said, ‘Ok so, Lydia, you don’t belong in Slytherin, which is why you’re going to be resorted’
