Currently statpoints are assigned randomly. They may or may not sort out into specific chosen classes. 5/9/2024 v0.2: Display of healthbar and energy. 5/25/2024 v0.3: Energy is now drained by movement, especially hopping and jumping. Depleting your energy bar damages you and gives you a few energy points back. There's currently no way to regain energy so you just slowly die lol. Also fixed some dumb bugs with energy bar display. 10/24/2024 v0.3a: Stats are no longer randomized, instead always using some (hopefully) reasonable base stats. 1/7/2025 v0.3b: Started preparing for the addition of items 4/12/2025 v0.4: Added items. Weapon pickups currently do nothing, but hearts and batteries restore lost health and energy. 10/25/2025 v0.5: Began developing enemies. They can move in all the ways you can, but they're not very smart. Combat currently unimplemented. Known issue: enemies can overlap because Scratch won't let me detect collisions between clones of the same sprite. 10/26/2025 v0.5a: Fixed health bar bugs and other small tweaks. Added energy drain when passing turns without actually moving. Implemented basic melee combat (weapon pickups still not functional) Defeating enemies currently gives some energy and health. 10/29/2025 v0.5b: Added passive health regeneration. 11/1/2025 v0.6: Health regeneration now happens on every twentieth turn instead of having a 1/20 chance to happen each turn. Capped the number of enemies that can spawn on a floor. This cap increases by 1 each floor. EXP gain and leveling implemented. You get EXP by erasing enemies from the system. 11/9/2025 v0.6a: The EXP cost to level up scales differently, making subsequent levels less expensive, and enemy damage now scales more slowly.
