The two were furious at each other as Pixal followed behind, "Perhaps there is a better solution than violence?" she questioned. She spoke fast, trying to get them to avoid this fight. Kai scoffed and pushed Pixal back slightly. The android didn't move much due to how heavy she was, making Kai growl in annoyance. The trio soon made their way to the courtyard as Kai pushed open the wooden sliding doors and walked to the middle of it, Harumi on the other side. Kai had a sneer on his face as he got into his fighting stance, "I'll let you go first, wow me." he taunted. Pixal stood at the sidelines. She knew Harumi was strong. Harumi dashed at Kai. He balled his hand up into a fist, going for a punch, but was stunned when Harumi ducked under him, delivering a blow to his gut and one to his chest, knocking the red ninja down. Kai got to one knee and gasped for air, choking out a snarky response, "Cheap shot...you just got lucky." he told Harumi as he got to his feet again. Pixal seemed amazed by Harumi's fighting abilities. She knew Harumi could fight well but was proud of her for being able to knock Kai down like that. Harumi jumped back away from Kai, maintaining a distance between him and herself. Kai finally caught his breath, standing up once more. She soon ran at him again. She was agile and light on her feet. Harumi managed to land a jab to his face and a kick to his leg before Kai hit a hard punch to her nose, making it bleed. Pixal let out a small gasp, covering her mouth, "Kai perhaps that is enough." Kai ignored her and struck Harumi again, causing her to stumble a bit. Kai snickered and went for another hard strike, "What can't keep up princess?" he taunted. Harumi grabbed his fist before he could strike her. She let go of his hand before delivering a sharp punch to his jaw. Kai groaned in pain, putting one hand on his face. Kai had it with this stupid fight. His hands lit on fire, "You want to play? How about you play with fire?" he asked, his tone low and full of fury. Pixal's eyes widened as she quickly rushed over, "Kai no!" she yelled, pushing Harumi out of the way. She was hit directly in her mechanical eye with a fireball. She dropped to her knee, biting back a hiss of pain. Kai's eyes widened as he ran over to Pixal. She lifted her head, her vision fading in and out. Pixal tried staying online, but she was overheating and soon passed out. Kai stared in shock. He didn't know what to do. So he called Cyrus Borg her creator. Harumi sat outside Cyrus' office in the lobby of Borg Towers. Her mind flooded with awful thoughts. Tears flooded her eyes as she put her face in her hands. She lifted her head and ran a hand through her off-white hair. She couldn't believe it. She had let the one person who truly loved her get hurt so badly. Harumi was suddenly drawn out of her thoughts by Cyrus opening the door to where he was working on fixing Pixal. He adjusted his tie and pushed his glasses up. His eyes darted to Harumi, his serious gaze turning to confusion, "Harumi?" he asked, confused as to why she was there. Harumi struggled to find her words. She didn't know if Pixal's creator would approve of her dating Pixal. She cleared her throat, "I just wanted to see how Pixal was doing." Harumi told him. It wasn't a lie. She did want to see her. Cyrus raised an eyebrow, "Uh huh...why?" he asked, crossing his arms against his chest. Harumi's eyes narrowed slightly, "Well...I'm a part of her team I'm her teammate now I want to see if she's alright." Harumi told him, "Plus I'm the reason she got hurt." Harumi admitted she felt so guilty about what happened to Pixal still. Cyrus gave a curt nod. He was still suspicious, "Empty your pockets." Cyrus told her sternly. Harumi was surprised for a second but complied and turned her empty pockets inside out. She had rushed out of the monastery and didn't even bother to grab her phone. Cyrus's eyes darted to her pockets as he nodded, "Alright you can see her." he told her reluctantly, but Cyrus knew he had to start trusting Harumi eventually.
Harumi smiled at Cyrus as she opened the door and stepped inside, "Pixal?" she called out, attempting to hide the fear and anxiety in her voice with a cold tone after seeing her lying on a bed. Pixal shifted to look at Harumi, chuckling a bit, "You don't have to hide your emotions with me Rumi." Pixal told her softly. Harumi smiled and sat next to the bed, "I'm so sorry you got hurt." Harumi spoke softly, her voice full of pain and guilt. Pixal's eyebrows knitted into concern as she placed her cold metal hand on Harumi's cheek, "You do not have to apologize." Pixal told her with a gentle and loving gaze, "I am just glad you are not injured." she smiled at Harumi softly, gently rubbing her thumb on Harumi's cheek. Harumi put her hand on Pixal's, enjoying the comfort. She finally noticed the eyepatch on Pixals eye, "You'll be alright won't you?" she asked. Pixal gave a curt nod. She moved the eyepatch aside. Her eye was fine but was closed, "Cyrus says I will be okay." she told Harumi, who let out a breath she had been holding. Harumi moved closer, laying her head on the crook of Pixal's neck, "I wouldn't forgive myself if you got permanently injured." Harumi admitted softly, wrapping her arms around the android's neck. Pixal moved her hand to Harumi's head, rubbing it gently to comfort her. Harumi kept close to Pixal, never wanting this moment to end. She loved Pixal more than anything. Her cold metal body, beautiful green eyes, everything about her was beautiful.
