read part 1 first! when the timeline was first split, it was split in three, then it was recombined, then split and LOOPED. but, how? time travel split the timeline, but what could fix it, and change the past at the same time, and is it connected to the missing triangle? that is the objective of part 2. START: the triforce is potentially incomplete. but if it is, someone, or something, must have tampered with it. so far, only one person has had a power similar to that gifted by the triforce. the guardian of time. for ease of reference the guardian of time, (initially split into good and bad, Lana and Cia respectively) will be referred to a 'Lanacia' when referring to both parts, 'Lana' for only her good side after the split, and 'Cia' for the bad side after the split. Lanacia was the guardian of time, meaning she could see across ages (perhaps the three branches of the timeline?) but she could not interfere with fate. however, she had control of the gate of souls and summoning gate, meaning that if she wanted to, she COULD interfere. but Lanacia was distracted by a certain hero in green (in short, she had a big crush on link). while she was distracted, darkness invaded her heart, splitting her into Lana and Cia. Cia proceeded to change the landscape and convert parts of it to different parts of time, including, twilight princess, skyward sword, and other things from different branches of time! this merged the knowledge, and thus the timeline, allowing BoTW to take place in all three simultaneously (purple point). when Zelda went back in time, this changed the effect of the imprisoning war, meaning she must go back in time or Gannondorf may not have been sealed away, preventing her going back in time. this creates a loop in the timeline. the loop is indefinite (dark blue point). but maybe breath of the wild is at the green point? maybe time was split at light blue, due to the usage of the gate of time in skyward sword? maybe the guardian of time holds the center triforce peice, and it was destroyed when Lanacia was split? END please let me know if you guys want a part 3, i may make a part 3 but im still on the fence about it so if the fans want it then i will make it, otherwise, it may be time for me to start a new theory. suggestions welcome in comments!
