This is my entry for rareunicornswirl--'s writing contest! (It's my poem) It's structured in the style of Shakespeare's famed sonnets! I hope you enjoy :) A note: the bird like figure in the final lines is the personification of sorrow and melancholy, hence the title - Also, had a little trouble making "two lands" and "woodlands" rhyme. (Best work on my rhyming skills!)
