hello ye um idrk where to start but pls read whole thing <3 anyways, I js wanted to let aes comm know abt what we all know but a reminder <3 : #1: IF YOU SEE AN IMPERSONATOR- Do not spam messages- no, don't even think about commenting on their prf. Just report and move on and they will be b4nn3d and acc will be deleted soon. If needed, let the aes comm know. Especially if targeted. #2: IF YOU SEE SOMEONE TAKING INSPO- Doesn't mean always that a person is stealing someone's work. A lot of people take inspo from the aes comm- including me (which is why I have a k-pop related-ish pfp) You can see b/w, desc, bnr, etc. inspo in people's work. Mostly they will credit. If not, maybe ask politely if it's too similar but otherwise, leave them alone. I didn't take any user inspo and found out someone had a similar user to me. #3: IF YOU SEE SOMEONE STEALING SOMEONE'S WORK (b/w, pfp, desc, bnr, etc.)- Don't give them TOO much attention. Just let them know whose it originally is and ask them politely to take it off. If matters go far, you may have to report the stolen item itself and defend your opinion/ the fact. But don't give attention to stealers or impersonators in general. #4: IF YOU SEE SOMEONE COMMENTING, "REPORT USER"- Just report the person but make sure they're impersonating or smth and make sure to know the reason why. You don't want to report an innocent person. And if needed to report, just report, don't comment, and move on. #5: IF YOU'RE IMPERSONATED- Try to keep the situation private and let friends know (who's on scratch to report the impersonator). You may need to let the aes comm know. However, don't be too harsh. Also, let them know to JUST REPORT- not commenting and being rude to the impersonator. --------------------- My whole point is- DON'T GIVE ATTENTION IF IT'S UNNESSCARY- and it will be at most times and be careful of what you comment. And think of why you're reporting someone. Yep, tysm- no h8 pls- you could say it's a rant but I also want to rise awareness of the toxic-ness in our aes comm and impersonators.
