This game is an exciting platformer called Wanted. In our game, you will be competing against your fellow players on the same computer, or you will be playing a story mode by yourself. The story mode will be an exciting and thrilling adventure where you go on to hunt and claim a $100 bounty, but you face many challenges in the form of levels that progressively get harder. There are 19 levels you can triumph, all play tested and completed by the game developer. In V.S. mode you compete against fellow players on the same computer to catch or escape playing as the sheriff or the robber. How to play. Choose a mode to play (Story or V.S.) Story Mode: WASD or Arrow Keys to move. A or left arrow key to move left D or right arrow key to move right W or up arrow key to jump Space to use jump pad S or down arrow key to sneak Get to the end/right of the level to proceed to the next level You will attempt to get to the Red Robber boss, he shoots 25 cacti at you before you have to hit a lever to damage the Red Robber. Use the sneak mechanic to get past the outlaws, but don’t hit them. 1v1: WASD to move for The Sheriff and Arrow Keys to move for the Robber A or left arrow key to move left D or right arrow key to move right W or up arrow key to jump S or Down arrow to use item in your hand Sheriff: Collect handcuffs from the jail to catch the robber. Press down the arrow to cuff the robber. Catch him before time runs out Robber: Escape using a lockpick you find when exploring the map. WASD to move the lockpick and touch the red area with the lockpick to escape. When you escape it will surprise the sheriff giving you time to escape. Survive until time runs out.
Our game is an “E” rated game. “E” rated games must have content that is generally suitable for all ages, and may contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence according to https://www.esrb.org/. We will be advertising our game to the audience of 9 - 14 males, multiple surveys show that close to 60% of RPG gamers and platformer gamers are male. Using research we have found that a few of the most engaging games for our target audience (9-14 year olds) play games such as Cuphead, Kirby Star Allies, and Hollow Knight, all 2D platformers with interesting mechanics. We have created a 2D platformer like the other platformer games that our audience plays. This game is unique for a few reasons such as being free for anyone to play who has access, having a multiplayer mode, having interesting designs all made in the scratch program and having no weapons. 4/29/24 Release 5/22/24 Update 1.2
