Actually the weakest Dreamworks movie ever. The main premise is the overused "oh you can do anything you think of if you try" but with a snail with super speed. The "twist villain" is terrible. He acts all nice in every race he's in but when it's against Turbo, hes mean and crummy. We all saw the "oh the idol is actually bad" thing coming at the start. It's one of the most overused tropes in animation history. Pair this with the "oh you can do anything you think of if you try" theme and you got yourself a terrible film. Oh, and did I mention the characters? They suck as well. The other snails are just background characters that give Turbo a challenge to advance the plot. Also, can we talk about the "oh the mc gets shunned for being different" overused trope? Too much. This movie never had a chance in my eyes. 1/10.
