Crazy how I've spent almost half my life on here. Almost two thirds of my life if you count my old accounts! So... eight years, huh? Wait, no, everyone says that on their anniversary projects. Let's just cut to the chase. I cannot deny that Scratch has had a major influence on my life. From September 30th, 2012, the creation date of my very first account; May 17th, 2016, this account's creation date; April 20th, 2020, when I released the first ever episode of BFFFW and everything changed; and finally now, where things aren't quite how they used to be but still going strong, Scratch has been an inseparable part of me, and I believe it will stay that way for many years to come. Scratch is what ignited my passion for computers and programming, and while I've had my ups and downs with it over the years — though the downs have been far more frequent than the ups recently — it continues to serve as not only another creative outlet for me but a symbol of where it all began. I'm studying Computer Science at college and will graduate with a bachelor's degree in 2027. This is my life. Without Scratch, the outcome of it may have been wildly different. So I thank each and every one of you, my 838 followers, all viewers of BFFFW and fans of my music, and everyone in between for keeping me motivated to stay here, and I thank my mom for allowing 7-year-old me to have access to the internet, because if I had not found Scratch so early on in my life, then it's likely I would never be where I am now. And lucky for us, I'm not going anywhere. These past eight years have been great. No matter who or what tries to bring us down, we'll have eight more great years, together.
