IN DEPTH DESCRIPTION Holly Corvus-Rose is a short, droopy-eared young adult going by She/They/It pronouns and labels themself as Demigender. Its total height is about five feet two inches, but they wear large, chunky-heeled black leather boots to lift them up to about five foot six inches. They have a pale complexion, with darker tones on their ears, hands and feet, along with dusted black freckles on their face, shoulders and neck. Its eyes are a pale Agate blue, with the pupils being a darker aquamarine and rimmed with dusty gold flecks. Her hair is normally tumbling in front of her eyes, being generally unkempt and in a form of chaotic disarray. The colour is a darker brown, kind of like mud after a rainstorm, and is soft and puffy. It falls down to just below their ears, and is normally adorned with lots of little wooden clips. She normally wears a short green sleeveless shirt, cropped at her waist and with full-arm length black gloves on. This shirt is decorated with hand-painted wooden buttons, one for their gender, one showing their Abros3xuality, one with their pronouns, and sometimes she includes one to reflect on her autism, which does also encompass her dyscalculia. As for her pants, it’s usually large baggy pants, being a muted grey-brown colour, and multiple large holes being ripped in the knees that were not their when purchased. These pants have deep pockets, usually used to store random things they decide to keep or collect, such as sea glass or feathers. Hollyhock also has a small pair of feathered wings, which resemble those of a doves, or maybe a pigeons, being white and tufty. She cannot fly with these, they just settle at their back, and normally flutter or puff out when Hollyhock is irritated or excited. She has multiple ear piercings, including their helixes and two or three different piercings along the lobe and up the sides of each ear. Her accessories also include a black leather choker around her neck and hand made rope bracelets all up her left arm. IN DEPTH PERSONALITY Hollyhock is a generally introverted person, only ever really talking to or opening up to her fellow shopkeepers and regular customers. It took its job in town, at the Paper Jungle Bookshop, stacking shelves and sorting books, and in her spare time reads the stories and creates her own to add to the bookshops vast collection. Mainly a fan of dystopian, horror and mystery genres of novel, Hollyhock deems themselves a fiction author and is still working on their bigger novels. Hollyhock is also quite a fighter, despite also being probably the clumsiest person you will ever meet, training themself in martial arts and other self-taught forms of defence on weekends and days off. They are also a bit of a horder, loves to collect little trinkets to add to her box of “Things.” This box has anything from stamps to feathers, sea glass to this random funny-looking stick she found on a walk. Also fascinated by bugs, frogs, mushrooms and other little critters, she documents her findings in one of her many note/taking journals, so they can look back in them whenever they get bored or need to know something. They want to learn to cook, but aren’t the greatest, and absolutely love any single thing that’s lemon flavoured. It also loves little critters, making sure they are happy, and spends a lot of time outside in the bookshops flower-filled courtyard, watching the butterflies and the bees fly around. She has a pet rat names Peanut, who is a little chubby angel, and often tends to any stray animal they find outside that needs a little love or looking after.
