Chapter 16 - Competitions Phantom and Rocky are now at so much of a.. ROCKY surface (heheh) that the two refuse to make up with one another. Luckily, Thorn was able to get the kits away. Rocky helps them away, and warns coveclan that Smoke’s group is coming for them. During the attack, Leafdrop goes full fox, Mudsplash killed several cats and basically shattered their spines, and Dawnsprint got a really bad wound on her neck, becoming a dementia case basically. Fallenkit was also taken, and Petalkit feels terrible about it. Forestkit got hurt, but he’s fine, thankfully. Frost also had her kits, naming them Emberkit, Marshkit, and Floweringkit, after Bloomingcloud. She’s basically given up on caring for them, though, only letting them feed, and wanting nothing to do with them otherwise, since they look a lot like Dragonfly. Storm is hiding in one of the bushes, when Emberkit came up to her. The two become friends, yay! The next day, Stormkit and Amber visit Coveclan, and while Lemon and Anglerwish fuss over Stormkit, Gingerstep is busy shouting. When the two return, Emberkit, Rocky, Fallenkit, Marshkit, and Floweringkit are in a contest with Phantom, Smoke, Gust, Typhoon, and Dragonfly to save Frost’s life. Lemon passes away due to greencough, just before her remaining kits are made apprentices, renamed Splashpaw, Cinnamonpaw, and Swamppaw. Storm and amber return to coveclan once again, and Rocky has been moving to and from each clan. Storm shows him the scar that Phantom Striker had given him, which enrages rocky as well. Amber is given her warrior name of Amberlight, and Splashpaw warns the clan of a coming flood.
