May the 4th be with you! //This game runs best in turbowarp: // https://turbowarp.org/1013672118 Behold! The demo version of a split-screen, two player, Star Wars combat game with all the pixel art you could ever want! Enjoy this very unfinished version. CONTROLS: Player 1- WASD movement, TFGH for attacking. F and H for directional attacks, T for force abilities, T+F/H for heavy attacks, and G+F/H for defensive attacks. Player 2- ARROW KEYS movement, 8456 for attacking. 4 and 6 for directional attacks, 8 for force abilities, 8+4/6 for heavy attacks, and 5+4/6 for defensive attacks. SPACE BAR to switch between characters and set the game to one player mode. Press any of the ARROW KEYS to split the screen and play two players! INSTRUCTIONS: Start quickly with two pre-made characters (quick play button) or create your own character (play button)! Choose between varying amounts of SURVIVAL, STRENGTH, AGILITY, and FORCE, which will define what species of alien they are! Once you have a character of your liking, explore the rebel base on Yavin 4. If you head upstairs, you will find the ARMORY, where you can equip weapons, and the DORMS, where you can edit your character's clothing and weapon colors. However, if you are unsatisfied with your character's stats, (or think they are a boring alien) you can head up to the highest room, where you can access the character creator again. (You can do this even if you quick started with pre-made characters. Finally, once you are ready to go fight the Empire, head down to your ship. Once you enter it, you will fly off to Coruscant, where you can face a simple level of stormtroopers. (More to come post-demo!) If you're finding the combat too difficult, don't worry! The more stormtroopers you beat, the higher your rank will get, which increases the damage you deal and the health you have. So, if you keep trying, in time even Darth Vader won't be able to stand against you. :D I hope you enjoy! #StarWars, #Splitscreen
All programing by @Makoshark3. I mean all of it. I didn't do anything but draw the art and provide moral support. Based upon the original idea by George Lucas :D Much more content to come in later updates, including, but not limited to, the following: more weapons, more locations, a story, more outfits, more helmets, more appearances, more enemies, sound effects, appropriately Star-Wars-y music, potentially more alien types, more personalities, new game mechanics, improved backgrounds, and any other cool things we happen to think of. ;)
