[The Woodcarver's Curse] 15 I hopelessly looked at Uranus, who continues to float creepily in the air. "You are meant to be evil! Look what you've done to your teacher, that student, and the man! Do you understand, Alice? Some people are born evil, and you're one of them," Uranus said. "But my sister, my mother, and my friends are pure good! Why am I evil?" I asked. Uranus continued to stare into my soul, not moving an inch. "Let me bring you to a magical place, then we'll see if you're a demon or an angel," Uranus summoned a portal and we hopped in. In the alternative universe, I found myself with red horns and a red devil-tail. "Told you you're a demon!" Uranus exclaimed. "And so is my former owner." I looked at the ghost-cat. "If you don't mind me asking, is your former owner a boy with red hair, red eyes, and a name called Flame?" Uranus jumped at the sound of Flame's name. "Yes, he was my owner before I died." "How did you die?" I asked, letting my curiosity get hold of me. "Flame filled my water bowl with poison, told you he's evil," Uranus answered. I began to observe our surroundings. I could tell that we were in between heaven and h3lI. "So I totally belong in h3lI, don't I?" I looked at Uranus's empty eyes. "Yes, of course." "Let me send you back, it's been an entire day in the human world," Uranus informed. "But it just seemed like an hour," I said. "The time in this universe (which is called Ethervale) is slower than the time in your universe," Uranus continued, and summoned a portal for me to go through.
Why is Alice a devil?!
