Surprise: I actually have a short background story to this work! You may think she was one of the cliché ones from Disney movies, or the ones that 'broke the standards' of normal princesses. But this princess was not brave, strong, and not that smart. She was curious. Among the many hallways and rooms that stretched across her spacious palace, there was one room in which she wasn't allowed. As she was raised to be obedient, she asked her mother and father every day before dinner. Alas, their answers inevitably negative. She asked the staff that worked at her palace, but they turned her down as well. The little princess walked off, just slightly frustrated. That was because she was going in the room as soon as everyone in the palace was asleep. As soon as the last light of the palace went off, the princess's mission had started. She tiptoed with her slippers as quietly as she could, the soles tapping just slightly against the marble floors. The princess's violet eyes scouted around for that specific door; rusty and worn out compared to the rest. Once she found it, her delicate little hands rested on the door handle just to get a feel for it. She knew this was the door. Suddenly, she heard the footsteps of another. The princess's little head couldn't quite work out what to do, so she swiftly opened the door and slammed it shut as quietly as she could. Just as she did, little fireflies lit up her vision. To her surprise, what she thought was a room, was now a vast, luscious garden with stars dusted across the sky.
