Battle Scars I used to believe that nobody was perfect, That even the happiest people had cracks, That even the smartest people had flaws, That even the greatest people were weak, They just covered it up too well. And now I know that's true. We all have our battle scars, From fights that we'd rather not mention, Battle scars that we've treated with such care, We didn't think existed anymore. I've always acted perfect, The "smartest kid in class", Expected to know all the answers, Even when I was laughed at, And overlooked, And underestimated, I had to pretend it didn't hurt. Maybe the scar has gone too deep... For I know others have it too. Battle scars, Battle scars... I've got some of my own, I just didn't know that they still hurted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MY POEMS HAVE A THEME NOW, DON'T THEY?? XD T-T :] :P :( :) :D XP I'm really sorry for writing such a depressing poem, but I just had this idea, and it's not a vent like the other one. *coughtotallynotcough* Hope you like it! (lol I got ch@t b@nned after posting this because I said "GOSH DRAGONCAT YOUR WRITING SVCKS"... for the record I was talking about myself and I wasn't offended and it wasn't MEANT to offend myself... that isn't breaking the guidelines is it-)
