a thing it encodes words/symbols into numbers because cloud vars can't store those for example 1 means 1, but 24 means m, etc. you can't delete what's already been inputted no capital letters because scratch can't tell the difference it's actually a cooperative document (if it works right, then everyone can contribute something to it) *all changes saved in drive
