flowers ♥ ______________________ ya know, i remember the days when all we did was dance flower fields sunflowers galore it seemed like it would all last and girl it did for when it rained we were still outside, singing but everyday every moment ever year she put a pesticide in my ear in my heart and i never took it for real and so it lived poison rotting my core poison spreading through my veins, through my face, even through my brains and sometimes in my tears she'd trample me, making me feel ashamed for ever thinking that she was the villain the crook in my story now i think and wonder and plead what would have happened? what would have happened if i continued to take those pesticides that were killing me? if i hadn't realized the pain? if her doses hadn't been insane? if all it was was a pinch? and then one day she left me tossed me in a garbage can and never spoke to me again and that was all fine, but the thing is she never took back the poison the pesticides that were still rotting in me and then one day one very, very long day every poison each tiny drop it all came in culmination and all i could do was sob for that poison would never leave my heart flowers don't know the pesticides they don't see your feet but they know pain people will forget what you said to them what you did to them but never how you made them feel ______________________ hi fairies!! so sorry if this poem is kinda dark TT but i rlly needed to get it out. i wrote this one abt my supposedly life long friend. i won't go into detail but it was very tough to this day i haven't forgotten that pain. i was inspired 2 write this since i actually told the story of my friend as my intro for my speech club (i was doing an impromptu one) and my coach liked it, so why not ^^ the quote we were doing it on was: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel" by maya angelou!! anyways, i hope u guys enjoy this one<3 even if it is really sad. but u guys should def remember the central message, please?
