TW DE@TH)) I had always loved talking walks. I think the habit started when I was little and had a dog. That’s beside the point though. My name is Kelcey Woods and I’m 23 years old, and im the second sister out of three. I was out taking a walk which is pretty normal for me, but nothing about it that day felt normal. Because I felt so uneasy, I took a route where I knew many people would be. Strangely enough, I couldn’t see anyone. It could have been because it was foggy, but this didn’t feel like normal fog. I felt like it was weighing me down. It was dark out. Darker than it should have been for an afternoon. As I continued to walk, I saw a beam of light. I don’t remember walking towards it. It felt like I was being dragged to it. Like I was a puppet and someone was playing with my strings. Somehow I got to the light. I felt compelled to touch the beam. The area the light covered was about how much space is inside an elevator. I don’t know why I did this, but I stepped inside. It felt warm inside. I wanted to stay in there and wait until everything felt ok. Until the people came back and the fog went away. I felt weightless in that light. That’s when I realized I was actually floating. I had to be at least twenty feet off the ground. I’m not afraid of heights, but this was all too much. I blacked out, im not sure for how long. Maybe it was hours? Seconds? Days even? However long it was, I eventually woke up with a pain in my neck. I thought the events from before had all been a dream. I sat up and realized my legs and ankles were tied to a bed in… wherever I was. I rubbed the back of my neck, and something sharp was sticking out. It was small and it felt like most of it was already stuck in there. I observed my surroundings. I was in a small rectangular room with little light. The only light in there was dim and red. I saw a door on the wall opposite to me. I wanted to get out and see where I was. I struggled to get out of the leg restrictions, but my movements felt thick and slow. After a while I eventually got out, but when I tried to stand up, I immediately fell again. So, I crawled to the door, and tried to get out. To my surprise it was open. It was cool and dry in the room where I was being kept in, but when I went out of it, the air felt moist and warm. I was in a long hallway. Like an animal habitat at the zoo. The light was the same though. I could make out other doors in the light. From the end of the hallway I saw five strange creatures advancing towards me. I threw open a random door desperate to get out of there. I didn’t want to see what those things could do to me. After I had opened the door, I saw it looked exactly like mine. I was frustrated until I noticed another person in a bed. At that point I got to my feet and ran to them. I grabbed their shoulders and tried to shake them awake. Then I realized their skin was cold. They were dead. I slowly backed away, my steps getting faster and faster. I kept going until my back hit something. It was the creatures I saw in the hall earlier. I think they were aliens. They had big heads and huge dark eyes. Two of them grabbed my arms. Their bodies were quite thin, but this grip they held onto me was like iron. I was thrown back into my room and strapped to the bed again. I was shaking, but whenever I tried to squeeze my way out, it felt like and electric charge was being sent from my neck into my head. I got quite the headache after trying for a while. I can still move my hands and a little bit of my arms. I found some paper and a weird looking pen, but it will work for this. I need to write this out in case anyone goes here. If they read it, they will know to escape. I know im going to end up like the other humans in here. Dead without anyone knowing what happened to me. I hear something in the hall. I believe that even if I do survive, I will be too weak to escape. I hear something at the door. It looks like I have reached the end. Goodbye. -Kelcey Woods
