Hi, curators of Pokemon MMO! Just here for ideas and questions since I can't comment... :( So this picture I provided here is gameplay of an Pokemon MMO (not in scratch), named... Poke MMO. There is a ton of people on here, as you can see on the picture. (I'm the purple hair girl with delcatty) I've just come to realize the MMO means "Massive Multiplayer Online", so I wasn't too sure if that was our ultimate goal with the studio? If this is the case, I have a few suggestions... So... uh, our first thing would be creating the base pokemon game. Which no one has successfully done on Scratch yet. Despite this, with clever use of lists and variables I believe its very possible! Once we are done with that, we need to correctly test our cloud variables. It should detect who is in the "area", so it the project doesn't try to load too many things at once. As for regions, I believe trying to fit all of them into one project will be too much - But, if we can use save codes, then we can put regions into different projects. This will also allow players to choose which region they'd like to start with. Um.. and I also come to realize that these kind of games don't last long if they don't have a good economy, or market system. This may not be the case for scratch. In this game, for example, you can spend money to "buy" a certain pokemon you may want, that others want to sell. Usually shinies will be very expensive, as these types of games have very, very low shiny rates. Of course, this entire thing is not needed, and may make players feel like they are buying from a pokemon hunter... And... customization is probably a little too much for Scratch, other than boy and girl options. The Pokemon following you is probably not possible as there may be hundreds of pokemon, that all need front, back, and sideways views. But this entire thing is my opinion. Anyway, I hope this helps! I hope I made some good suggestions. If you have any questions, remix this project, and I'll answer them in Notes and Credits. Thank you for viewing! ...And I'm a girl, in case you couldn't tell :P
